Kundalini Yoga is a blend of Bhakti Yoga (the yogic practice of devotion and chanting), Raja Yoga (the practice of meditation/mental and physical control) and Shakti Yoga (for the expression of power and energy).
The technology of Kundalini Yoga is a system of meditation directed toward the release of kundalini energy. Kundalini, in Hinduism refers to a form of divine energy said to be located at the base of the spine.
This class entails a combination of movement, sound, breath, and meditation to refine our nervous and immune systems, while also promoting relaxation and uplifting the spirit.
Each class includes a relaxing experience with the healing vibrations of the gong. Kundalini Yoga is filled with yogic philosophies and tools to help support our daily lives.
Beth has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 20 years and is a Reiki Master Teacher. In 2013 she became a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and received training in Kundalini Yoga Therapy. Beth is also a certified Gong Master trained under the guidance of Don Conreaux.
